Graduated in Engineering and Master in Spatial Planning and Environmental Planning, from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL/FCT). He worked at the INATEL Foundation and Ydreams and was a founding partner of several companies linked to sport and nature tourism. Since 2006 dedicated to Ytravel, lda, which has a presence in the market such as Portugal A2Z (tour operator and consultancy services in nature tourism), Bikotel (chain of bike friendly hotels) and Responsible Trails (trail monitoring system), where he works management and consultancy functions. He has extensive experience working as a consultant in Sustainable Tourism Development projects with Intermunicipal Communities, Regional Tourism Entities and collaborative networks such as Aldeias Htóricas de Portugal and Aldeias do Xisto, having changed his residence to one of them, Ferraria de São João, where he created a Rural Tourism unit, Casas do Vale do Ninho. In this village, hit by the 2017 fires, he has been involved in a pioneering project to create a Village Protection Zone with the local community.
