PhD student in Urban Studies (UNL/ISCTE‐IUL). She studied the Advanced Program for Executives (Catholic University) and postgraduate studies in Metropolization, Strategic Planning and Sustainability (FCSH-UNL). Degree in Sociology (ISCTE‐IUL).
He began his career in a large Naval Construction company where he spent seven years in the human resources area. He was later linked to the Ministry of Justice and was responsible for the Department of Social and Human Sciences at the Institute of Judicial Police and Criminal Sciences for four years.
From 1989 onwards, he worked as a Management Consultant, carrying out several company restructuring projects, implementing human resources policies and participating in corporate merger process teams.
Since 2005, in conjunction with consultancy, he was Director of Human Resources and Communication and Image of an international Engineering Consulting company for six years, Advisor and later President of the Board of Directors of a local public company, for four years.
Collaborating with the Urbanologist, he was part of the project team within the scope of the work on Analysis of the Meaning of the Cacilhas – Almada-Cristo Rei Axis for the Almada City Council.
Currently, he is studying the competitiveness of a Portuguese tourist city’s brand in the global market. The main research interests are competitiveness of territories, mobility and public transport.
