Master’s degree in Information Systems with specialization in Innovation for Smart Cities in collaboration with UN University in eGov and Smart Cities and more than 20 years of experience occupying management positions in international reference software companies (Infor, IFS and Exact), Jorge Saraiva has been operating in the Smart Cities industry since 2012 and is recognized as an expert on the impact of the Digital Transition on local economies, society and politics. President of the European Network of City Policy Labs, an initiative of the EU Smart Cities Marketplace, he led the Smart.London project that inspired the documentary: Smart London- Small London (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPHGwb6HcxE&feature=youtu .be) and was CTO of Twyns company, City Digital Twin, a spin-off of the Amsterdam City Council’s parking solution. He is the author of several publications, highlighting the recognition of the Smart Alliance (world bank) as the main influencer in the book: TOP agenda of Smart Cities in 2021.
Returning to Portugal, as a result of the pandemic, Jorge joined the tres60 group (Bragalux, Groupfix, CityGas among 20 other companies), as Director of Innovation for the Energy Transition. Simultaneously, he provides consultancy services to major cities in Saudi Arabia.
