Professionally, I bring over two decades of expertise as a Journalist and Editor, having honed my skills at the esteemed “Jornal de Notícias.” My journey in the field has been marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence, driven by a passion for uncovering and sharing stories that matter.

Throughout my career, I’ve demonstrated a knack for overseeing large-scale operations, providing strong leadership, and thriving under high-pressure situations. These experiences have not only sharpened my abilities but also instilled in me a resilience that ensures I perform at my best, even when faced with demanding challenges.

Currently, I’m embarking on a new academic endeavor—a doctoral program in Communication Sciences at the University of Minho. This pursuit reflects my commitment to continuous learning and growth in the ever-evolving landscape of journalism and communication.

As I delve into the world of academia, I remain deeply rooted in my journalistic roots. My work has always been a bridge between storytelling and societal impact. I believe that stories, when well-told, have the power to shape perceptions, inspire change, and foster understanding. My ongoing research aims to explore the intersection of these principles, seeking innovative ways to elevate the impact of communication in our increasingly interconnected world.

Beyond my professional and academic pursuits, I am an advocate for ethical journalism and the responsible use of media in our society. I believe in the importance of integrity, accuracy, and fairness in every piece of content we produce, be it news articles, editorials, or academic research.
